About us

Buying out redundant office furniture creates satisfaction.

Buying office furniture is a profession with love and passion for people and materials. We ensure that the waste mountain grows less and that items can possibly be reused.


Since 2013 we have been active in the reuse of office furniture and we are proud of the number of customers we have been able to help. Not only with the actual clearing of buildings and/or the collection of surplus office furniture, but even more so that we see that companies realize their own objectives in the field of sustainability and circularity, whereby the amount of waste is reduced. And in this way costs can be saved because you do not have to use movers.


In 2013, it was not at all current to reuse things. By chance, we started doing this because a relation had to leave an office building empty in order to have everything neat for a new tenant. It was a shame to throw everything away, so we took the step to collect these things, check them, clean them and sell them again.


At that time, the purchasing motive was mainly that people wanted good office furniture at a low price. Now we mainly see that companies choose circular furniture to contribute to a better environment.


After this "experiment" we started to focus on clearing out companies and institutions. At first it was mainly (semi) governments that had surplus office furniture, but later also more and more medium-sized companies between 15-200 employees. The reasons are diverse; purchase of new office furniture, relocation, reorganization or downsizing.

 

What we do with it?

A frequently asked question we get is what we are going to do with it. That depends on what we can do with it. The starting point is that we try to reuse the stuff, but often that is not immediately possible. That is why we like to give a few examples:

  • Office chairs that still meet the minimum ergonomic requirements are first technically checked to see if they still function 100% properly. Usually they are then completely dismantled and all parts are checked and made functional again. The chair is provided with new upholstery and, where necessary, a new cushion. Optionally, the chair also gets new wheels and some "chair perfume". After that, it can be reused by a future customer.
  • Desks are always dismantled (usually already on location). The parts are neatly sorted as well as the bases. The tops (and other waste) are collected and disposed of separately. The bases are sometimes given a new colour (black is much requested) and after the sale the customer can choose a new top of their choice.


We hope to contribute to reducing waste flows and thus create a better world with less waste.
